Dear Santa,

I've been very good this year. I made cakes for my friends and helped an old lady cross the road. OK, so actually it was alcohol and that last part is a lie, but I have been good. I put this jacket on to see what my new trousers would look like with a blazer, then actually quite liked the combo. Tartan. Dogtooth. Mustard. It's all very autumnal. I like it. Now I just need some Hunter wellies and some leaves to crunch through.

Another week also means another weekend which means, yep, another night out. I bought this Miss Selfridge dress off eBay for the occassion. I'd like to bling it up a bit with proper chunky necklaces next time though.

It's been agesssss since I've last done a post, but to be honest, not much has happened. I bought a shirt from a charity shop for £2.00, grew a volcano-sized spot on my chin and went on a failed date. He disapproved of my love for Ed Sheeran and pours his tea before his milk?! What can I say.

Bad date aside, I've gone a bit bra crazy recently. There's so much cute vintage-style lingerie about at the minute and I've found myself stocking up for winter or something, like there's going to be some kind of bra shortage. At least now I feel glamorously prepared if I get run down by a bus or invited back to Ed Sheeran's house for tea (milk first of course)...I'll stop now. Summer's apparently been and gone and now I'm all excited about the new Autumn/Winter collections. I'm especially loving ASOS's bold jewellery and River Island's metallic embroidery patterns. I've had my eye on these shorts for ages and I'm still waiting for them to get in store! They'd look great with a chiffon skirt on top and these bright wedges to add some colour.

So I had a very successful shopping trip as far as bargains are concerned. I saw these lush 50's style pin-up shorts from Topshop in the sale for £15.00. I thought, yes, £15.00, I'll have you. Then, when I found my size the label said £7.00, YES, I'm thinking, I'll definately have you. Then when I took them to the till, some of the stitching at the bottom was loose so they gave me discount, and I got them for £4.66. YES. SUCCESS.

PAY DAY

So it's the 1st of the month, and that can mean only one thing. PAY DAY. I did a little window shopping and here are my top picks (mostly Miss Selfridge apparently). I LOVE this cut out tutu dress. Thick tights and a pair of black wedges and I'm sorted for a night on the razz.

I also can't believe this cute bow tie from Dorothy Perkins was only £1.00! It has a pin fastening AND a crocodile clip so its perfect. £1.00. Brilliant. And if theres an Office near you, scoop these gorgeous velvet heels up for just a fiver! I do love a bargain...
