So I had a very successful shopping trip as far as bargains are concerned. I saw these lush 50's style pin-up shorts from Topshop in the sale for £15.00. I thought, yes, £15.00, I'll have you. Then, when I found my size the label said £7.00, YES, I'm thinking, I'll definately have you. Then when I took them to the till, some of the stitching at the bottom was loose so they gave me discount, and I got them for £4.66. YES. SUCCESS.

PAY DAY

So it's the 1st of the month, and that can mean only one thing. PAY DAY. I did a little window shopping and here are my top picks (mostly Miss Selfridge apparently). I LOVE this cut out tutu dress. Thick tights and a pair of black wedges and I'm sorted for a night on the razz.

I also can't believe this cute bow tie from Dorothy Perkins was only £1.00! It has a pin fastening AND a crocodile clip so its perfect. £1.00. Brilliant. And if theres an Office near you, scoop these gorgeous velvet heels up for just a fiver! I do love a bargain...

SUNGLASSES

I love my Raybans, and now as summer is begining to poke its rays through the clouds (see what I did there?!), I'd best get ready to crack out the shades. But what to go for?

I've always played it safe with classic wayfarer style sunnies, but I'd like to try something different. I might not go as far as putting pinapples round my eyes, but I'd like something retro. I love 50's style round keyhole glasses, I'm thinking more John Lennon then Harry Potter.

PURCHASE

Just bought myself a black chiffon maxi from American Apparel. Well, OK, eBay for half the price. I love it. Now I can finally wear my sequin hot pants without getting my arse out!
